So yeah. 2017 resolutions about finishing stuff. That’s pretty much not gonna happen at scale.
This past year brought many curve balls, several of which had to do with our one-year-old son. He had a hard winter of colds that turned into middle-of-the-night breathing issues and ambulance rides to Children’s Hospital. Then summer brought his open heart surgery, which, all things considered, went really well. He is a champ.
Our six-year-old daughter keeps us inspired and remembering that pretty much any situation can become a science, math, or other life lesson, and pretty much any lesson can be a story.
We also moved into a grown-up house, from a townhome. You know, with a yard and stuff. It’s absolutely amazing. It turns out grown-up houses are high maintenance, though. So that’s a thing.
So, 2018 then. Perhaps sooner. I’m looking forward to it. I haven’t been idle, and there are some projects to share.
The list of projects completed (that need to be documented) and the list of projects to finish are both growing larger.
